TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (which has replaced TAA40104) Options and Dates
Option 1: Self-Paced Delivery
The LIV TRAINING Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Self-Paced Delivery option is perfect if you would like to learn what you want, when you want. It will work with your busy schedule as there’s no need to attend any face-to-face classes or assessments and you’ll receive everything you need to complete the course at your own pace.
As a Self-Paced Learner, your Training and Assessment Resource Package will be delivered to your door and include:
- A Cert IV Quick-start Guide
- Introduction to VET Manual
- Designing VET Manual
- Delivering VET Manual
- Assessing VET Manual
You’ll also receive access to LIV Training’s e-Learning area – designed to make learning easier and more rewarding. There are:
- Challenging interactive games,
- Audio guides covering every aspect of your course, and
- A valuable collection of video guides, that you can enjoy both online and offline.
The video and audio guides are even compatible with portable media players (like ipods, iphones, androids) so you can learn on the move.
Keep in-touch with your facilitator from your home, work, or anywhere in the world by both phone and email. You can communicate and network with other learners studying the same course as you through the online discussion forum.
You will also receive a learner DVD-ROM containing digital copies of all learning resources as well as the Video and Audio Guides.

Option 2: Face-to-face Delivery
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Face-to-face delivery option is proving very popular for people who would like to have the extra support of attending a face-to-face training session.
The face-to-face training sessions run from 9am – 4:30pm on consecutive days (usually Monday to Friday).
If you choose the Face-to-face Delivery option you’ll be able to book into any of our face-to-face training sessions plus you’ll still receive all the extensive Certificate IV in Training and Assessment resources and support included in option 1.
