Fast-track with Recognition of Your Prior Learning and Experience

When you enrol in the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with LIV Training, you may be eligible to reduce the amount of time and effort involved in attaining your qualification, by receiving recognition or credit for your previous experience as well as qualifications you currently hold.

At LIV Training we recognise that your past experiences can be just as valuable, and in many situations, even more valuable than any paper qualification. It can be frustrating when you know you have the skills and experience to do something but just don’t have the ‘piece of paper’ to prove it. That’s why when you enrol with LIV Training we will work with you to gain formal recognition of the skills and knowledge you already possess.

Within vocational education and training this recognition or credit is often referred to as recognition of prior learning (RPL) or recognition of current competence (RCC). However, to keep things simple and understandable we like to refer to it as ‘recognition’.

If you have a little experience in training and/or assessment, then you will most likely benefit from enrolling in the full Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course and then liaising with your course coordinator to see what assessment tasks you can receive recognition for.

If you already have extensive experience in training and/or assessment (for example; you are experinced in developing and delivering training sessions, or you are working/have worked within a registered training organisation, or you are a qualified primary or secondary school teacher, or you hold the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training qualification) you may be interested in enrolling in one of the options below:

Full RPL/Recognition

The Full RPL/Recognition is perfect if you already have experience in training and/or assessment but just don’t have the paper qualification. Rather than using a robotic and inflexible online system – the recognition process at LIV Training is personal and customisable to your individual circumstances. BSZ40198 Upgrade

If you already hold the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training you can fast-track with the BSZ40198 Upgrade. Learn more about the TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment (BSZ40198 Upgrade).

Teachers Upgrade

As a primary or secondary school teacher you already have extensive experience in training and assessment and can fast-track with the Teachers Upgrade. Learn more about the TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment (Teachers Upgrade).
